First of all , I would like to recommend you that if you are planning to start a blog just for your hobby  & making only few money then I will suggest you to  go for creating a free blog , but if you are planning to start a blog seriously  to earn decent amount of money  and willing to choose blogging as your full time career , I will never suggest to create a blog for free .  Just invest few amount of money in purchasing your own domain name ,

hosting space  and a professional looking responsive wordpress theme.
But if you are very beginner and willing to just explore what is blogging for time pass , Go for making a free blog , for creating a absolutely free blog you need to use the blogger / blogspot platform.
What is blogger.com / blogspot.com ?
Blogger.com  or Blogspot.com are same website which is owned by internet giant google.com ,It allows people to create blog absolutely free of cost , you are not even required to purchase a domain name and hosting space it provides free of cost  , it provide domain name in this format – www.abcdef….blogspot.com .   on blogger you need not to worry about the security issues since it is a google product , it also takes backup automatically of your complete blog  . It is very easy to learn and work on blogger.com , you need not to be an expert for creating a blog on blogger platform.
Advantages & Disadvantage  of creating your blog  with blogger / blogspot is  following :
Advantages :
* it is completely free , even domain name and hosting space are free of cost.
*Easy to learn and work with your blog by using blogger.com
*It is googles product , hence google take care of its security issues , and takes backup of your blog automatically.
*Get google adsese monetization easily , since it’s a google product.
Disadvantages :
*Not professional look , not advance features and options which are in wordpress.
*Search engine don’t give them much better ranking in their search results . Since in blogger there are very basic seo options
*Depend upon google policies , whenever he make a change ,what ever he make a change you have to follow.
*You need to place advertisement code manually for several advertising  & affiliate marketing *company , while you need not to worry about them it can be done in seconds with plugins in wordpress.
Now lets get started to create a blog for free step by step with blogger.com , Below I had also attached some video tutorials which will guide you to create your free blog on blogspot.com
Step 1 – Get a google account , since it is a google product hence you can use your existing gmail  account username and password  to create a blog on blogspot or you can create a new gmail account for your blog.
Step 2 – Now go to blogger.com , login with you gmail user name and password – after login you will reach to blogger.com dashboard , here now click on – New Blog.
Step 3 – Create your blog title , address and choose a template/ theme –  Now here you have to create a suitable title for your blog , after that you need to create your website address followed be blogspot.com , hence enter the desired prefix before  .blogspot.com , once you enter it it will check that wether that name is available or it is already taken by some one . if it is taken you need to enter another prefix , if accepted , then choose a website template / them suitable for your website. And lastly click on – create blog .You will get a message saying that your blog has been successfully created .
Now click on-  view blog  , you will be able to see the frontend of your newly created blog.
Now do some important settings for your blog before posting any content , so go to Dashboard (backend of your blog ) , Click on the drag and drop button on –  More options.

Step 4 – Go to – Settings >Basic :  Here  you need to enter a description about your website , this is very important to get your blog visible in search engine listing.
Step 5 – Go to – Settings . post & comments – Here you need to compulsory make some changes like how many post would like to show on front page. In comments options , click on any one can comment , and change  comment  moderation  to always , show word verification – yes . this will help to protect your blog from spammers.
Step 6 – Now start posting your article – Click on new post , a new window will open , where you need to type the post title , and write the detailed post article in the space provided below , if you wish to insert image and videos in side the post you can do it by clicking on the insert  image  & insert video options , there are several other options which could be helpful to you in writing your post , like bold , italic , justify and several other options from the tool bar. Once you finish writing your post , just you need to publish your post. Once you click the publish button , your post will be published to your blog.
What is difference between post and page in blog ?

In a blog , post is published on the home page of your blog and the most recent is automatically posted on the top of all post and older posts goes down , but pages are fixed in your blog they can be attached to a menu item , and when some on click that page , people can see the complete page once , any page on a blog can be directly accessed from the home page of the blog but the posts which are older may be on the 2,3, 4 and so on pages of the post page.
How to create a page in blogger / blogspot blog ? Why my published pages are not visible on frontend of my blog .How to link a page to menu in blogger or blogspot  blog ?

In order to create a page on blogger / blogspot , you need to go to your dashboard , thene click on – pages > then click on new page , once you click there a new blank page will open , it will ask you to enter the page title , there after start writing the content of your page and lastly publish the page . but one problem will arise you will not be able to view your published page in frontend of your blog . hence in order to view the page in frontend of your website you need to some settings in the layout option. Which are following :
Go to – Layout > add a gadget > pages  –  once you click  here a new window will open  , This window is actually a menu bar , name the menu as – top menu , This menu bar  already contain home button and your published pages but in order to display pages on frontend , you need to click on the check box before your page name , once you click here your page will be added to the menu bar , now do check to all your pages and click on save button in the bottom of the window , now click on – save arrangement  on the Layout setting page . and now see the frontend of your blog you will find your page published visible to everyone on the menu bar tab. for your better understanding I had published a video here please watch for guidance.
